Artist Statement:
I cast the body and record sound. Each medium is a documentation of my life, a way for me to make everything last a little longer.
Biography:
Robert Bennett Jr. was born in East Syracuse, New York in 1992. In 2014 he received a Bachelors of Fine Art with a concentration in Sculpture and a minor in Public Engagement from Maine College of Art. His projects range in material and scale, yet all present moments of solitude for his audience. Bennett creates social landscapes of dialogue and interaction between himself, his work, and his audience. He currently resides in Portland, Maine.
