Artist Statement:
Things I make keep me happy.
Biography:
Joel Tsui, also known as Probably Joel, is a multi-disciplinary artist specialising in new media and photography. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Joel fostered his passion in technology and art. Being immersed in an intercultural city influenced him to travel and meet new people, leading him to pursue his higher education in Portland, Maine. Joel’s work has been shown internationally, including Hong Kong, Malaysia and the United States. The work explores a wide variety of narrative methods, from photography and filmmaking to sound and installation art.
