Biography:

Haley Flight grew up outside of Boston and is now an illustrator based out of Saco, Maine. She works predominantly in watercolor and gouache creating detailed works of art that combine folk art sensibilities with crisp line and cool colors. She often brings botanical inspiration into her own practice, employing meticulous mark making to produce simple yet elegant, repetitive patterns. Flight’s interest in organization and distinctive line work is evident in her hand lettering which is paired with scrupulous flourishes and organic shapes. She is interested in applied patterns, packaging design, album artwork, and infographics. Her free time is spent creating her own recipes, exploring new places, singing along to indie music, or curled up with a book.
