Artist Statement:

I make cartoons and comics for the sole purpose of making people laugh. I work almost exclusively digitally and use bright flat colors in my work.

Biography:

Timothy Ropple is a graphic design major at the Maine College of Art. The designs that Tim make are usually based around a joke or a random idea that he has. Usually these ideas are expressed through comic based media and illustrations. These ideas are usually parody of popular television series and video games, but Tim does do other kinds of designs such as logos and icons. Tim hopes to one day own a series of his own, whether it be a comic book, television, or web series doesn’t matter to him, as long as his idea is out there.
