Artist Statement:

Our world has an amazing variety of plants, animals, and microorganisms. Many of these species remain undiscovered or unstudied. Biodiversity is the variation of plants and animals that are in an environment. This ranges from localized areas or looking at the planet as a whole.

Due to pollution, climate change, and expanding structures, thousands upon thousands of species are critically endangered of becoming extinct; this has lead to a biodiversity crisis. Biodiversity is something that is not just important to our planet, but to the very existence of humanity. Without our aid plants and animals will not be the only beings to disappear from our planet. It is pertinent to see that Earth is not something that can be taken for granted, and that it needs to be taken care of.

In this body of work I have branded and produced material for an environmental campaign to bring awareness to biodiversity. This includes logo design, informational design, promotional products and creating a specific identity for this work.
