Artist Statement:

Being a queer female filmmaker in a male dominated industry the odds are put against me. Women have been fighting to have their voice in film since the beginning of motion pictures. The roles of women on and off screen have a parallel disadvantage so I aspire to represent women, non-binary, queer folk, and marginalized people in a way that is ethical. Through visual storytelling I have the power to shape public perception and I’m passionate about representing queer characters in normal scenarios. The stories I share isn't just about them being queer, but rather about them experiencing something universal.
