Artist Statement:

Hiya! I’m Kevin Lang of Mental Abyss Art. I’m an animator and digital artist. I'm a graduate of Maine College of Art having majored in Animation and Game Art and minored in Writing. The focus of my work is primarily character animation, fight choreography, character and fashion design, and digital character illustration. Aside from digital 2D art, I also do some 3D modeling as well as traditional work using primarily graphite and colored pencil. I’ve also done some metalsmithing, sculpture, and woodworking.

Biography:

Animator and digital artist skilled in 2D digital animation, and digital illustration and painting. Focused on character animation, fight choreography, character and fashion design, storyboarding, and story development. Experienced in creating digital 3D assets and backgrounds. Team player with leadership training and experience leading teams and groups as large as 22 individuals. Excellent communicator with mediation and collaboration experience. Aspiring author demonstrating strong creative writing skills. Hard-working, dependable, and eager to learn more and develop new talents.
