Biography:
Lauren Merritt lives in Portland, Maine and is a graduate from Maine College of Art. He is an Illustrator traditionally trained in painting before MECA, which inevitably pushed his painterly style and approach to his illustrative work. His work currently is heavily influenced by his love for figural study and graphic use of color. He utilizes traditional and digital techniques to bring these qualities forward within his work. As an illustrator, Merritt continues to push himself to evolve and integrate his personal hobbies in his art.
