Bonnie's Portrait

Description

Commissioned gouache portrait of cocker spaniel, Bonnie. I choose to use gouache in my pet portraits because I can more effectively build up layers of fur texture than I am able to with water color. I have recently been specializing in pet portraits and people have been loving my work! I am often told that I truly capture the pet's eyes and personality in my work and I am proud of that. I included my reference photo to prove it!
