This work places the viewer in the midst of global climate change and environmental upheaval. It is also steeped in the philosophy of the Feminine Sublime?an expansive, transformative and sensory approach to the Sublime.

These de-stabilizing atmospheric realms of toxic hazy hues are layered with shifting and disrupted grids and map-like perspectives. The paintings present a multidimensional space where environmental and psychological realities overlap. Referencing ancient navigational tools such as Polynesian stick charts, Icelandic Sar and the star compass, the work configures time and space as deeply connected to intuition, cultural memory, and spiritual quest.

Artist Statement:

My work places the viewer in the midst of global climate change and environmental upheaval. It is uncanny and sublime how beautiful and disturbing the destruction and transformation of our landscape can be. In presenting work that represents Climate Change research and the evolution of creature life strategies on the planet, my work holds a space for conversation, contemplation and dialogue concerning the environment.
