The Maine Course

Description

Portland, Maine has a vibrant and compelling food scene with roughly 450 different restaurants. This conceptual map highlights 63 restaurants of interest in the area. My intention is to bring light to the diversity of options and inspire exploration of the city. I also aim to strike a balance between my voice as an illustrator as well as a food critic. This gridded isometric map was constructed from my own restaurant experiences and aims to offer something new for each viewer.
