Description
My goal when leaving MECA is to pursue a tattoo apprenticeship and so for my thesis I decided to build a portfolio of work highlighting different styles of tattooing. My goal with my thesis was to research and study the variety of styles and better acquaint myself with them. There are strict rules and common iconic imagery within each style, my goal was to try and put my own spin on some of these classical designs as well as incorporate my own. As a common theme throughout my pieces I decided to use each sheet to depict a different famous cautionary tale.
