Description
My inspiration behind this piece was the character Francis Dolarhyde, and his obsession with the Red Dragon. This piece was to practice and explore my figure drawing skills, while creating a recognizable face and body in new poses that he has yet to been seen in (yet reflect his character). After I was happy with the proportions and muscle placement, I felt a pop of abstracted neon orange dragon wings and tail would fit this piece and his overall vibe perfectly (along with his famous quote).
