Description

I investigate the sentiments and fantasies evoked by domestic objects and spaces, finding beauty in mundane moments. My work answers a longing for comfort and safety I think many of us share in times of uncertainty. I make handbuilt pottery and sculpture with illustrated surfaces that describe real and imagined domestic spaces. I intend to call attention to the daily rituals and quiet moments in our lives and I am particularly interested in the potential of ceramic objects to enrich our lives.
