This was created for my Editorial Illustration class right after the passing of the legendary Ruth Bader Ginsberg. She will always be an influential figure in my life and I felted an emotional urge to create a piece to honor her.

Artist Statement:
My work revolves around my love for dramatic lighting and the challenge of effective storytelling. I strive to push the boundaries of realism and to create captivating art using vivid colors and high contrast. My goal is to create magic in the mundane by taking routine subject matters such as sitting on the train or buying lunch and turning them into magical experiences. Much of my work has been inspired by the vibrance of New York City, a place where I spent much of my childhood. Whenever possible, I also try to focus on womens’ empowerment. I am constantly influenced by the many strong and impactful women in my life. They give me the strength and drive to create and share my work with the world.
