This body of work It?s Not Girly Enough is about the different layers of identity within every person. Identity is complex and cannot just have one or two sides, it is not as simple as male and female or masculine and feminine. Though we both have the masculine and feminine in us we chose to embody these in different ways. This work is also about assumptions specifically about male vs. female, and how we as society feel the need to categorize everything including people and places into masculine or feminine.
