My partner, the main subject of this body of work, had depersonalization disorder. This disorder made his mind work in a different way from most people; simply, this disorder created inner turmoil, thus making him unsure of his thoughts. Always questioning the everyday situations around him, he tried to unwrap what was real and what was not. With photography I strive to understand what it truly means to lose someone you love. Through manipulation of photographs, I follow our journey on the last trip we made together; working to understand him, as well as coping with his death.
