For my thesis project I am using brand and package design in order to inform upon the spiritual arts as well as to dispel preconceived notions about divination. I do this by using memories and techniques I have learned to inform upon a visual system. The visual theme works to challenge our understanding of what is ominous by using a color palette as well as iconic forms that reflect the mysteriousness and auspiciousness of the practice. The products I am basing my packaging around are that of new age as well as ancient divination in order to ignite a conversation of the evolution and history of the spiritual arts.
