A series done for my picture book course final. This series is depicting three characters traversing the world on a search for treasure, and finding their favorite treasure is in the adventure itself.

Artist Statement:
My work as a whole focuses on the study of children's illustration in a variety of mediums.
Through each piece I strive to connect with my own childhood, and use that as inspiration to create works of art that children today can relate to. I find inspiration through other modern illustrators in the children's literature community, particularly those that work in collage.
