Description

"Present-at-Hand, Ready-to-Hand" is an interactive, mix media, piece inspired by Martin Heidegger's tool analysis. It asks the viewer to investigate a simple object (the hammer) through explorations of material, construction, deformation, utility, sticky references and other conceptual associations. In a more expansive sense it asks us to look deeply at what objects are.
