Description
Axolotls are fascinating and completely underrated amphibians indigenous to a single lake in Mexico. These amazing creatures are sensitive, yet can regrow any part of their bodies including even some parts of their brains. While wildly researched and successfully cared for in captive environments, they are sadly critically endangered in the wild.

Artist Statement:
Lily Mae is an Illustrator with a strong love for all things wild, mysterious, and of the natural world.
Lily's work is influenced predominantly by spiritual practice, connection to the self, and mother nature. Through her work she strives to create playful yet intentional illustrations that highlight an appreciation for the simple moments in life.
