Artist Statement:

Juxtaposing tactility, energy in material, and craft with warmth and playfulness in narrative, engenders a childlike sense of wonder and excitement that lends itself to children's book work. My work is an exploration of nature and the abstract forms it can create. I portray a lively side to each piece by attention to detail and a consistent color palette. Through the spontaneous use of collage, detailed pen work, and colorful washes, I am exploring my own quirky style.
