Description

STIP is an app for art school time management. This was a collaborative effort between myself, Mollie Ennis, and Mariana Silva. The assignment began in groups and we were given the option to either continue as a group or break into individuals. None of us had much experience working in groups, and figured this was an interesting challenge for all of us. We approached the assignment with the question: how might we create an app to bargain with time? As art students we don't abide by the typical clock. We stay up until 4 in the morning only to go to class at 8 and start the entire cycle over again. We wanted an app that would assist with a person's productivity and ignore regular hours of the day. We would each tackle a different aspect of the app, work on it for a week, then switch. So the entire app would have a consistent feeling and design. For every frustrating, argumentative day, there were days of huge strides and high-fives.
