Edit, 2018
Edit begins as a collection of 10 ceramic objects grouped together on a table. This installation is then completed by its initial audience through an assigned task given to them. The audience members are faced with the job of editing the 10 objects presented on a table down to one remaining object, which is then placed atop a pedestal on the table. The nine edited objects are destroyed by the participants. Each object is logged by its editor, who is required to take responsibility for their action by writing down their reasons for the edit prior to the destruction of the object.
