Description
A Strange Assembly was a collaborative exhibition and curatorial effort which included myself, Ashley Page Keegan Whitford, and Lauren Anderson. Our show statement: Found and manipulated objects assemble to create an environment that explores the body, materiality and tactility of our surrounding world. Constructed from ceramic, steel, textile, and found objects this show is an investigation of the relationship we have to our natural, synthetic and constructed environment. These works explore what the body experiences, feels and makes, even if it often ends in confusion or contradiction.
